ACT Monaro Riverina Branch: Cressida Campbell – a special tour at the NGA

Our opening event for 2023 is a special guided tour of the wonderful exhibition Cressida Campbell in the National Gallery of Australia.
This large, exceptionally beautiful exhibition has been drawing enthusiastic visitors since it opened in October. Here is an opportunity to join a special tour for AGHS members and friends. Kay Johnston, long standing NGA guide and AGHS member will lead the tour, along with other guides.
The survey exhibition covers Campbell’s working life, not chronologically but thematically. Each of the six large rooms is devoted to a theme: Still life, Journey round my house, Plants, Studio, Bushland and Waterways with an additional room that includes a wonderful video interview with the artist.
As usual the tour will be followed by refreshments.
