Umina is the home of the Country Women’s Association of Victoria, situated in Toorak, seven kilometres from the central Melbourne. It has been owned by the CWA since 1948. Umina is one of the few Toorak gardens to retain most of its original area. Created in two stages, the garden also retains its original plan, subject to modification necessitated by alterations to the buildings and the sale of a strip of land on the northern boundary.
